Summer Concert Series: Soft Touch Band 7.18.2025

Soft Touch is a classic big band with full horn and rhythm sections and two outstanding vocalists. They specialize in swing-era music from the '40s to the '60s, plus Broadway hits and classic rock favorites.

Their all-volunteer group is comprised of retired professional musicians and serious amateurs. Soft Touch donates engagement fees toward college scholarships to local high school seniors who have excelled in music. To date, over $130,000 has been awarded to talented local students.

 

The Chamber’s Summer Concert Series is a beloved community tradition, offering free, family-friendly concerts every Friday evening from July 11 through August 22, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

For more than 30 years, the series have been drawing audiences from Lexington and neighboring towns to enjoy a variety of musical styles in a relaxed, picnic-in-the-park setting. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate the spirit of community and connect with neighbors old and new.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and a refreshment or two—and settle in for an evening of great music and summer fun!
